  • Are you a manufacturer or a trader ?

We are a manufacturer, and our main products are hookah charcoal tablet presses, ball briquette presses, charcoal briquette extruder, etc. We have our own technical team that can produce customized products for you according to your requirements.

  • Why do my briquettes crack or break easily?

Common causes:Moisture >15% (reduce with pre-drying);Insufficient binder (increase to 5-8%);Worn mold (replace every 500-800 production hours).

  • How much electricity does a charcoal briquette machine consume?

Small models use 7.5-15kW/h; large machines require 30-75kW/h. Diesel-driven options are available for off-grid areas.

  • Can the machine produce different shapes of briquettes?

Yes! By changing molds, you can make hexagonal, oval, pillow-shaped, or cube briquettes (e.g., 50mm x 35mm).

  • What is the production capacity of a standard charcoal briquette machine?

Capacity ranges from 200kg/h (small models) to 2,000kg/h (industrial machines). Output depends on material density and machine pressure (typically 50-100MPa).

  • Do I need to add a binder to make charcoal briquettes?

ost biomass requires 3-5% natural binders (e.g., starch, clay). Coal dust may need 5-10% lignosulfonate. Some machines work binder-free with high-pressure extrusion.

  • What raw materials can a charcoal briquette machine process?

It can process biomass waste like sawdust, rice husk, coconut shells, bamboo, and even coal dust. Materials must be ≤3mm in size and 8-12% moisture content.

  • Do you provide after-sales service in Africa?

    Yes! We have.

  • What raw materials are NOT suitable for briquetting?

Metal impurities (damage rollers) Oil content >5% (e.g., some biomass waste) Particles >5mm (requires pre-crushing)

  • Can I make hexagonal or oval-shaped briquettes?

Yes! Our machines support custom molds for shapes: Pillow: Standard for BBQ charcoal Hexagon: Popular in Middle East markets Oval: Higher density for industrial use

  • Can the machine process wet charcoal powder?

No. Raw material moisture must be ≤12% for optimal compression. We recommend pairing the machine with a rotary dryer (sold separately) if your charcoal powder is damp.

  • How to reduce maintenance costs of a charcoal briquetting machine?

Use heat-treated alloy steel rollers to resist abrasion Clean residue after daily operation Lubricate bearings every 50 working hours Purchase machines with modular design for easy part replaceme
